Yori's Law
Advocacy for Water Safety Education

At No More Under, we are committed to preventing childhood drowning through comprehensive advocacy efforts. Our initiatives have successfully led to the passage of Yori's Law (House Bill 1750) in Washington State, which designates May 15th as Water Safety Day and promotes education and awareness around water safety.
Building on this momentum, we are actively working to integrate water safety education into public school curricula. By developing pilot programs within physical education classes, we aim to collect valuable data to inform legislation mandating water safety education in all Washington State public schools.
Community Engagement Through Film
Our documentary, Drowning in Silence, directed by our founder Chezik Tsunoda, serves as a powerful tool to raise awareness about the epidemic of childhood drowning. This harrowing yet hopeful film invites viewers to join a transformative journey, shedding light on the importance of water safety.
Hosting a screening of Drowning in Silence is an impactful way to engage your community in meaningful conversations about water safety and advocate for change. These events can galvanize support for educational initiatives and policy reforms aimed at preventing drowning incidents.
To book a screening and bring this vital conversation to your community, please reach out to us at admin@nomoreunder.org.
