Privacy Policy & Information Practices

Last Updated: June 2026

No More Under ("No More Under," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of the children, families, volunteers, donors, supporters, and community members we serve. This Privacy Policy describes how No More Under collects, uses, maintains, stores, shares, and protects personal information obtained through our website, programs, events, fundraising activities, communications, and other interactions with our organization.

We are committed to handling personal information responsibly and transparently. While we strive to protect the information entrusted to us, no privacy policy can anticipate every circumstance, technology, or operational need. This Privacy Policy is intended to describe our current information practices and may be updated from time to time as our programs, partnerships, technology, operations, or legal obligations evolve.

By accessing our website, registering for a program, making a donation, subscribing to communications, volunteering, attending an event, or otherwise interacting with No More Under, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information as described herein.

1. Operational Practices

As No More Under grows, we continually evaluate and improve our programs, technology, partnerships, and operational practices. We reserve the right to modify our internal processes, technology platforms, service providers, communication methods, and administrative procedures as reasonably necessary to support our charitable mission, provided such changes remain consistent with applicable law and this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

No More Under may collect, maintain, process, store, and retain personal information voluntarily provided by parents, legal guardians, participants, donors, volunteers, supporters, and website visitors. Depending on the nature of the interaction, this information may include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, dates of birth, emergency contact information, participant registration information, swimming ability and water competency information, safety-related information relevant to program participation, demographic information, donation history, communication preferences, survey responses, volunteer information, and any other information voluntarily submitted in connection with our programs, services, fundraising activities, events, or communications.

As part of our registration process, we may request demographic information, including race, ethnicity, and eligibility for free or reduced-price lunch programs. These questions help us evaluate program reach, measure impact, advance equity goals, and fulfill grant reporting requirements. While these questions are included as part of the registration process, participants and families may select "Prefer not to answer" where that option is available.

3. Children's Privacy

Protecting children is a priority for No More Under.

Our programs serve children and youth; however, we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 through our website. Information regarding children is collected from parents or legal guardians during the registration process.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for submitting registration information for all participants under the age of 18 and represent that they have the authority to provide such information on behalf of the participating child.

4. How We Use Information

No More Under may use personal information to administer programs, coordinate participant safety, communicate with participants, parents, guardians, volunteers, donors, and supporters, process registrations and donations, provide tax receipts and donation acknowledgments, send newsletters, fundraising communications, organizational updates, and event information, evaluate program effectiveness and community impact, fulfill grant reporting requirements, maintain organizational and historical records, support donor stewardship, improve our website and services, comply with legal obligations, and for other purposes reasonably related to the operation and charitable mission of No More Under.

5. Health and Safety Information

To help ensure participant safety and appropriate program placement, No More Under may collect information regarding a participant's swimming ability, water competency, emergency contact information, safety considerations, and other information voluntarily provided by parents or guardians that is relevant to participant safety or program participation.

This information is collected solely to support participant safety, instructional planning, emergency response, and program administration. Such information may be shared with authorized staff, instructors, lifeguards, coaches, volunteers, aquatic facilities, university partners, and other organizations directly involved in delivering No More Under programming when reasonably necessary to safely administer our programs.

No More Under does not use participant health or safety information for marketing purposes and does not publicly disclose individual participant information of this nature.

6. Photos and Videos

Participation in No More Under programs requires the completion of applicable registration materials, including a Media Release executed by a parent or legal guardian for participants under the age of 18.

Consistent with the permissions granted through that Media Release, No More Under may photograph, record, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, and otherwise use photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, testimonials, and other media for educational, promotional, fundraising, grant reporting, impact reporting, public relations, website content, social media, printed materials, presentations, and other mission-related purposes.

No More Under may also share approved media with universities, schools, aquatic facilities, sponsors, nonprofit organizations, community partners, and other organizations involved in delivering or supporting our programs. Such organizations may also capture and use photographs or video recordings in accordance with the permissions granted through the applicable Media Release and their own organizational policies.

Once photographs or videos are captured, maintained, or published by a partner organization, their use may be governed by that organization's own privacy policies, terms, and practices. No More Under is not responsible for the independent information or media practices of third-party organizations.

7. Donations and Communications

When individuals make donations, subscribe to newsletters, register for events, or otherwise engage with No More Under, personal information may be collected and processed through third-party service providers.

No More Under currently utilizes Givebutter to facilitate online donations, donor management, fundraising activities, and email communications. We may retain donor and subscriber information, including names, email addresses, mailing addresses, donation history, communication preferences, and related records for donor stewardship, fundraising, tax reporting, donor acknowledgment, organizational communications, historical recordkeeping, and other legitimate organizational purposes.

No More Under does not store complete credit card or payment account information on its own systems.

8. Sharing Information

No More Under does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Personal information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to administer programs, protect participant safety, communicate with families, process donations, fulfill legal obligations, support fundraising activities, administer organizational operations, or otherwise carry out the charitable mission of No More Under.

Information may be shared with instructors, lifeguards, coaches, volunteers, university partners, educational institutions, aquatic facilities, nonprofit organizations, community organizations, sponsors, contractors, consultants, technology providers, payment processors, service providers, vendors, governmental agencies when required by law, and other individuals or organizations assisting No More Under in the delivery of programs or organizational operations.

Information shared with third parties is limited to that which is reasonably necessary for the intended purpose.

9. Third-Party Service Providers

No More Under utilizes third-party service providers to support its operations, including but not limited to Airtable, Softr, Twilio, Givebutter, PayPal, Wix, Google services, Meta services, and other technology providers, payment processors, communication platforms, website hosts, analytics providers, cloud-based software providers, and vendors as reasonably necessary to support our operations.

These providers maintain their own privacy policies, terms of service, security practices, and data handling procedures governing information processed through their platforms. Information submitted through or processed by these services may therefore also be subject to the applicable policies and practices of those providers.

No More Under encourages users to review the privacy policies of any third-party service used in connection with our website, programs, or services.

As our organization evolves, No More Under may add, remove, replace, or modify third-party service providers as reasonably necessary to support our operations without prior notice. Such changes shall remain subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Despite these efforts, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, No More Under cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted electronically or stored by third-party providers.

Should No More Under become aware of a data security incident affecting personal information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the matter and respond in accordance with applicable law.

12. Data Retention

No More Under may retain participant, donor, volunteer, communication, financial, programmatic, historical, and administrative records for as long as reasonably necessary to support program operations, participant safety, historical record keeping, legal compliance, grant reporting, fundraising, donor stewardship, organizational administration, and other legitimate organizational purposes.
