Lifeguard: No More Under supports your child in gaining their junior lifeguard (11+ years old) or professional lifeguard (15+ years old) certifications, for free.
Teen Ambassador: No More Under invites teens to earn the title of "Water Safety Ambassador" by volunteering with us at community events
BECOME A LIFEGUARD
Junior Lifeguard Program: This opportunity is for youth who are currently too young to be employed as lifeguards but would like to learn the skills and join in a fun program to possibly become a lifeguard in the future.
Professional Lifeguard Course: Learn the skills and get certified to become a lifeguard that is immediately employable upon achievement.
The Benefits: Becoming a lifeguard is a fantastic form of employment, earning on average $22 per hour in Seattle.
Being a lifeguard gives you highly sought-after employment skills for life and supports a fit and healthy lifestyle. This position offers exciting challenges for personal growth and employment opportunities.
Timeline: We will email you with upcoming dates for classes.
Age Requirements: 11+ years old for Junior Program / 15+ years old for Professional Program
BECOME A TEEN AMBASSDOR
The Opportunity: No More Under shares water safety in many ways, including informative materials and community events. We give away lifejackets, share information about swimming lessons, offer water safety advice, and more! We are seeking teenagers to help assemble NMU’s materials and join us at event booths.
The Benefits: Becoming an NMU Teen Ambassador is a fun and fantastic form of community service and is helpful for those that need volunteer hours. This work and the events we attend support development of highly sought-after employment skills for life. No More Under approves service hours and is also happy to write letters of recommendation for teens who engage in this program.
Timeline: Volunteer hours vary, but are mostly May - August.
Age Requirements: 13 - 18 years old.

OPORTUNIDADES DE EMPLEO Y PARTICIPACIÓN EN ACTIVIDADES ACUÁTICAS

en eventos comunitarios.
CONVIÉRTETE EN SOCORRISTA
Programa Junior de Socorrismo: Esta oportunidad es para los jóvenes que
actualmente son demasiado jóvenes para ser empleados como socorristas, pero le
gustaría aprender las habilidades y unirse a un programa de diversión para
posiblemente convertirse en un socorrista en el futuro.
Curso de Socorrista Acuático Profesional: Aprender las habilidades y obtener la
certificación para convertirse en un socorrista que es inmediatamente empleable
después de su logro.
Los beneficios: Ser socorrista es una fantástica forma de empleo, ya que se gana una

La oportunidad: No More Under comparte la seguridad en el agua de muchas
maneras, incluyendo materiales informativos y eventos comunitarios. Regalamos
chalecos salvavidas, compartimos información sobre clases de natación, ofrecemos
consejos de seguridad en el agua, ¡y mucho más! Estamos buscando adolescentes
para ayudar a montar los materiales de NMU y unirse a nosotros en los stands de
eventos.
Los beneficios: Convertirse en un Embajador Adolescente NMU es una forma
divertida y fantástica de servicio a la comunidad y es útil para aquellos que necesitan
horas de voluntariado. Este trabajo y los eventos a los que asistimos apoyan el
desarrollo de habilidades de empleo muy buscadas para toda la vida. No More Under
aprueba las horas de servicio y también está encantado de escribir cartas de
recomendación para los adolescentes que participan en este programa.
Calendario: Las horas de voluntariado varían, pero son principalmente de mayo a
agosto.
